Wager Match game modes
****NOTE****Many people are worried about people "dashboarding" from Wager Matches. People were worried that this might allow them to leave without losing any CP. But it has been confirmed by Vahn that you put the CP up at the beginning of the match and if you try to dashboard you will forfeit the match and lose your CP.********
Wager Match is something new to CoD that lets you gamble your CP(Cod Points) you have earned from normal matchmaking games and contracts.
All wager match game modes are FFA and have 6 players per game.
The top 3 players finish "in the money" and earn a profit while the 4th, 5th, and 6th place players lose their money and must try to earn it back next game
---it is unknown what would happen in the event of a tie---(most likely splitting the money between the 2 players if they are in the top 3)
for example: 2 players tie for 1st, those two would split both the 1st and 2nd place earnings while 3rd places earnings remain unchanged
Inside of the Wager Match playlists are 3 different options for gambling.
*Ante Up-low buy ins (parties allowed, option to choose your game type) 100 CP buy in
*Weekend Gambler-medium buy ins (no parties, option to choose your game type) 500 CP buy in?
*High Roller-high buy ins (no parties, random game type is selected) 1000 CP buy in
Pay out rates are the same for all 3 options
*1st place 3:1
*2nd place 1.8:1
*3rd place 1.2:1
One In The Chamber
1 man, 1 bullet, 3 lives
Everyone spawns into the game with nothing but a pistol, their knife, and 1 bullet.
Bullets can be gained by killing your enemy by shooting them or (if you miss) knifing them.
There is a 10:00 time limit and each person only has 3 lives but the last man standing does not win, the amount of points you have earned from kills determine if you finish in the money or not. 100 points are awarded for both shooting and knifing an enemy. Even though you only spawn with 1 bullet it is still possible to carry more than one at a time if you knife someone and take their bullet while keeping your own. At some time during the match everyone in the game will recieve a warning saying "Heads Up Spy Plane Inbound". This will hopefully help to speed up games and prevent camping, but it is unknown what time it spawns or how many people need to die to have one spawned. Another interesting feature is that the leader will show up as a gold dot on radar to everyone else during a spy plane.
On a side note it appears that they Makarov or M1911 is used as the default One In The Chamber pistol.
Sharpshooter
All players spawn with the same gun and continue to cycle weapons simultaneously every 45 seconds. On top of spawning random weapons it appears it can also spawn these weapons with random attachments, and even the special weapons from care packages such as the Death Machine. And don't worry about running out of ammo, all weapons have infinite ammo during Sharpshooter.
Something unique to Sharpshooter is perks and bonuses. You're rewarded for going on a killing spree in Sharpshooter unlike other Wager Match modes.
-Bonuses-
*1st Bonus- Sleight of Hand Pro
*2nd Bonus- Lightweight Pro
*3rd Bonus- Steady Aim Pro
*4th Bonus- 2x scoring multiplier
Weapon kill- 100 pts
Knife kill- 25 pts
---I have seen a video of someone getting 400 pts for a kill with a gun, I'm not sure if his scoring multiplier continued to stack after 2x or what caused the extra points for each kill(the game timer was under 1:00)---
These bonuses are displayed on the right side of your screen and you lose all perks and scoring multipliers when you die and must earn them again next life.
***For some reason depending on what video you watch you'll noticed the time limits of the game are different and vary from video to video, i'm not sure what causes this. (possibly which buy in mode you choose) And the cycle timer appears to be different depending on which mode you're in, they can range from 0:45 seconds all the way up to 2:00 minutes from what I've seen***
Gun Game
Gun Game starts everyone out with a pistol and each player must try to go through all 20 tiers of the weapons first. Getting a kill with the 1st gun causes you to pull out the 2nd gun and so on... An added twist to the game is that when you knife an enemy you set them back 1 tier (players cannot be demoted beneath the Python).
Gun Game has no point system and your place at the end of the game is determined by what tier of weapons you're on.
*10:00 timer, infinite ammo
#1 Python Multiple Attachments (seems like it has the Warlord perk for some reason, most likely snub nose and speed reloader)
#2 Makarov Dual Wield
#3 SPAS
#4 Stakeout
#5 MP5K
#6 Skorpion Dual Wield
#7 AK74u
#8 M14
#9 M16
#10 Famas
#11 AUG
#12 HK21
#13 M60
#14 L96A1
#15 WA2000
#16 Grim Reaper
#17 M72LAW
#18 China Lake
#19 Crossbow Explosive Tips
#20 Ballistic Knife
Not a whole lot to say on this one, shoot the guy, pull out your new gun, rinse and repeat.
Sticks and Stones
No bullets? No problem.
Each player spawns with a Crossbow Explosive Tip, Ballistic Knife, and Tomahawk. Points are awarded for killing players 4 different ways but points can also be taken away from you.
*Crossbow Explosive Tip 100 pts
*Ballistic Knife 100 pts
*Knife (melee) 25 pts
*Tomahawk 10 pts
The Tomahawk may only give you 10 points but it sets the enemy player back to 0 points for that round and can turn the tables quickly in any Sticks and Stones match.
There is limited ammo in this game mode and with two very limited ammo weapons and one Tomahawk you may be knifing a lot more than you expected if you're missing your shots too often.

Well that's about it for game modes. Next up i think I'll cover Killstreaks, Perks, and the pro perks that are confirmed.
